The Community of Coffee (and Life!) is not "cut and dried"... but is composed of experiences, knowledge, and relationships. We understand this! and embrace it as our ethos for offering our expertise and insight to those wishing to further their lives and careers through coffee.

For close to 30 years our Instructors have been blessed by the surprising, inspiring, challenging and passionate product and lifestyle that we call Specialty Coffee.

We have learned the most through experiences; some were painful "trial and error" , but many of these defining moments were guided by association with some truly gifted practicioners and teachers.

This is our Offering to you; not rote information from books and charts (although our written curriculum is second to none) but a world class opportunity to be taught, in an intimate fashion, by some of the Specialty Coffee Industry's most inspiring and successful leaders.

We, of necessity, travelled the world to gain this knowledge and understanding. From Sumatra to Trieste, seed to cup, we spent decades gathering the gems of understading and practices that result in Specialty Coffee success.

The voyage to Coffee knowledge no longer requires a voyage to Europe or the coffee growing regions; this knowledge awaits you here in the Pacific Northwest of the U.S.
